Having two very large dogs (of whom my business is named), I know how difficult it is to find the supplies, collars, leashes, etc. to fit your pet correctly. In an unsuccessful search for a strong collar large enough for my English Mastiffs, I decided to try and make my own collars.
After that I was hooked. I found I can make a collar and offer it for sale for almost half the cost of a retail store. What's better? I can use whatever fabric, design, or collar type I want. These collars and leashes are stronger than most you find on the market today, plus they are much more fashionable for your 4 legged friend! Since then I've begun making toys and treats too.

Columbia Second Chance was founded in 1985 as a privately-funded, all-volunteer organization dedicated to "seeking first-class homes for second-hand pets." Through the kindness of our volunteers and our foster homes, we care for animals of all types, either on a temporary basis while we search for a new, permanent home, or on a long-term basis while the animal is treated for illness or injury. At no time are animals euthanized just because they don't have a home - all animals have a home at Columbia Second Chance. Animals are accepted on a space-available basis.

Dogs must be on a leash in all city parks and on walking trails. There are several areas approved by the City Council for running of dogs off leash. Dogs off leash must be under the control of the owner. Dogs on a trail shall be on a leash and reined in to within four feet of the responsible person whenever approaching or being approached by another trail user. This site lists the parks approved as leash-free areas.
